ABOVE AVERAGE
Inspired by the rich history of Haus der Statistik, “Above Average” consists of an ongoing video-sculpture in the window of Trial and Theresa’s temporary project space at the building, using obsolete media, such as tube-Tvs and monitors.
Inside, the product of our collective thinking on the subject of cybernetics and data collection takes the form of visual loops.
Alongside the installation, two curated evenings with talks and lecture performances take place at our satellite location, aquarium in June and July.
About Modellprojekt Haus der Statistik:
Das Modellprojekt Haus der Statistik wird von fünf Kooperationspartnern (Koop5) aus Zivilgesellschaft und Verwaltung kooperativ als Ort zum Wohnen, Leben und Arbeiten entwickelt. Die Erdgeschosse des neuen Quartiers sollen dem Gemeinwohl dienen. Während der Planungs- und Bauphase wird die Basis dafür mit den Pioniernutzungen erarbeitet.
