Who Feminist VJ-collective Trial and Theresa & guests – 20 international *women VJs (Visual Jockeys) and video artists collaborating with sound artists and DJs from Berlin and around the globe, including members of fellow feminist networks such as female:pressure, MEET UP Berlin and The Workshop.
Live Visual Loops at VORSPIEL – TRANSMEDIALE / CTM Festival: LIMINAL
A non-stop visual performance re-flecting liminal modes of collectivity. The weekend takes off with video-installations inside Babette’s copper tanks. When night falls, Babette crosses over into image-space with shared VJ-sets and experimental Live A/V.
Trial and Theresa & friends improvise to key concepts from the hive-mind such as: threshold / viscous mass / endless liquids / mineral skin / suspended animation / wreckage / ghosts / border destructors / morphing bodies / deep colours / …
The Vorspiel-audience is invited to participate by slipping their own festival-photographs into a shared image stream (code: #firehouse_vorspiel).
