Images riding through the air, disappearing behind misty clouds. Steams of video behind windows. As you move towards the scene, the mirage has already changed its shape again and is beginning to appear anew.
As a guest at Mondiale’s Nachbarschaftscampus Dammweg, the feminist video collective Trial and Theresa is animating its surroundings with VJ-sets and video installations. The Theresas will send phantom images into the night sky and conjure ghostly clouds inside a greenhouse. “Firehouse Sessions # 04: Breathing Fire” celebrates fantasy and illusion as part of reality. Glasshouses to flash islands. Proximity at a distance.
